Miami remains a booming real estate market, building at a rate un-paralleled to any other city in the United States. Construction has been picking up all around South Florida- we have experienced the demand first hand, 35 properties currently under construction and pre-construction.
Construction has been up 8% since this time last year and Miami tops the list of the top five metropolitan areas ranked by the dollar amount of new multifamily homes. The most costly factor is labor as land costs have gone up as subcontractors are starting to increase their profit margin. However, this means more laborers are moving to Miami as the demand increases.
